The heartwarming lovely and well-crafted greeting shared teacher Ewuraama with her pupils’ first thing in the morning before the pupils enter the class is second to none.
She is the KG2 teacher at Diamond State Academy, and her name has become synonymous with a teacher born to teach and bring endless smiles and joy to little minds in her class.
The handshake is mainly performed at about 7:30 am in the morning. Pupils do all they can with the help of parents not to miss the opportunity in them.
Teacher Ewuraama’s Inspiring Handshake is a nice collection of rhythmic handshakes are enticing enough and makes peoples not only punctual but time conscious at this early stage in life. Teacher Ewuraama was of the view that the handshakes done the morning helps the little minds to learn how to manage time and be time conscious. The pupils have also developed positive attitudes and their academic work has also improved.

When she was asked if her children enjoy it, this was what she said.
“They really enjoy doing it because it makes them happy and active in class and I want them to feel welcome and special as they come and study with without fear.”

Teacher Ewuraama is a level 200 student of the University of Education, Winneba studying through the Sandwich program to become a professional teacher.
Her education is currently sponsored by her parents, however, she has a big dream thus to set up and education foundation to support Ghanaian children across the country to reach their full potential.
Being a teacher full of love and care, she has taken the pain and spent so much time and to teach the children these greeting choreographies.
Teacher Ewuraama’s Inspiring Handshake is an early morning joy for her pupils which knows no bounds.
Her pupils love being around early in the morning and queue up just to be warmly welcomed into a new day in the class of a teacher whose joy it is to teach children.
She ensures that children who get admitted to or promoted to her class learn this wonderful early morning greetings,
She said when her first set of pupils got promoted to Primary one, she felt so sad, and the kids were not just ready to leave for the next class.
She had to counsel them and promised to visit them ones a while. According to her, she and the pupils have formed a strong bond.
When she was asked if she had any advice for a preschool teacher, this was what she said.
“My advice to all pre-school teachers is to give off all their best to make the children happy, they should show love and treat them like their own. Every pre-school should know the child uniqueness.”
Ewuraama added that parents whose wards are in the school really appreciate her work and effort and that is enough encouragement. She is indeed positively impacting the lives of the children and their parents and must be commended.
