Nkwanta SHS is in shambles after Student RiotsNkwanta SHS is in shambles as students demonstrated against the seizure of phones and destroyed properties including all school vehicles, teachers’ motorbikes, a police pickup, marker boards, notice boards, teachers’  stores outside campus etc.

The vandalism by the students was life-threatening that, resident staff on campus had to run to town for their lives to avoid the freestone throwing action of the students.

Students smashed every valuable they came across. They came charging to ensure they reclaim they seized mobile phones. Their attack was extended into teachers bungalows.

The police presence did not deter the students as that charged them more. The helpless security officers were later supported by a re-enforcement from the military. But the harm was already caused before they arrived on the scene why which time the students on rampage had totally destroyed everything in the school.
