In other words, it has also given the top ten (10) Universities the bragging rights for the next one year.

Who is the University Ranking Organization ?

uniRank is the organization (Website) that ranked the universities. It has over the years ranked universities across the globe.

As a result of the need to encourage healthy competition among tertiary institutions in Ghana, 66 universities in were considered for the ranking. However, the ranking was based on the following parameters.

Criteria for Ranking University

  • The institution must be chartered, licensed and/or accredited by the appropriate Ghanaian higher education-related organization
  • Also, university or institution must offer at least four-year undergraduate degrees (bachelor degrees) or postgraduate degrees (master or doctoral degrees)
  • Lastly, the university must deliver programmes and courses in a face-to-face teaching environment on-campus.
