GES extends closing date for 2019 BECE registration

WAEC -EXAMINATION MALPRACTICESGES has extended the closing date for the submission of the 2019 BECE registration. In a press stated dated 8th January 2019, it stated that the BECE registration which officially ended on 31st December 2018  should be extended to 21st January 2019.

This is aimed at ensuring no school or candidate is left behind. It also gave the chance to those who may have to do late registration to do it by close of day on 31st January 2019.

This means all offices charged with the responsibility of receiving registration documents of the various schools are to stop the charging of penalties for late submission and allow schools to complete the registration without suffering any undue spending.

The legality of such penalties is already questionable.
