E.P. Church Children’s Day marked

E.P. Church Children’s Day marked

This year’s E.P. Church Children’s Day marked has been held across the country in all congregations. Each year this day is celebrated it also reminds us of some missionaries who lost their children to due to the harsh weather conditions in Africa when they came to spread the Good News. It is also a time when the adult church fellowships with the children ministry.

marked the outdoring of the EPCG Meampeasem East Legon Children ministry uniform.
Preaching on the theme “Creating a new nation in Christ”, Ms. Olivia Acorlor a children Ministry pupil reminded all Christians that “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” Psalm 127:1
Christians were admonished to trust in God for their salvation for God has assured his people, he will be their God. Christians were reminded of all the good God has done for them as well as his unfailing promises just as he gave to the Israelites. Indeed God continues to do new things in their lives us Christians.

Christians’ were again reminded of God’s promises, encouragement and love for His people at all times. Just as God used Paul to caution the Christian in Philippines about false prophets who were using the laws of Moses in false teachings and the objections that were raised by Judas Iscariot when Mary Magdalene washed the feet of Jesus and used an expensive perfume to clean his feet.
Christians are also to have good hearts and spirits and be hot for Christ but not lukewarm as this will help them inherit the new heaven and earth promised by God.Christians are to worship in true faith and to put all their trust in God, as we build a new nation of worshipers and worship God in faith knowing that Christ is the foundation of the church.

Children were called to focus on what they are doing as Christian children today and do it well for a better result tomorrow. She reminded Christians that, whatever they are doing today, they are doing it for the lord.
